Domaine Carneros was founded by the noble family behind Champagne Taittinger. In the late 1970's Claude Taittinger began his search in the U.S. for a worthy counterpart and in 1987 he selected a 138-acre parcel in the heart of Carneros, Napa Valley. The winery is best known as a small grower-producer of méthode traditionelle sparkling wine, Pinot Noir, estate vineyards, and the breathtakingly beautiful château.

Domaine Carneros château is a stunning regional landmark surrounded by the six estate vineyards. Spread over 400 acres the land produces 100% fruit used in the wine production.
